Pre-Configured Stories - Ready to Read!

When creating a new Salesforce App, Lexio will automatically create stories covering two of the things that your sales team cares about most - bookings and pipeline health. All you need to do is connect to your Salesforce data.

Bookings Story

The Bookings Story helps answer questions your sales team has about your bookings, such as, “How many deals did we close, and what were our bookings? What was our average deal size? How did our number of deals and average deal size change relative to the previous period? How did we perform relative to our goal? Who were our top performers?”

This information is presented at Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly timeframes, with each story examining the deal sizes of your closed/won opportunities over the course of the chosen timeframe.

To calculate your bookings, Lexio uses the "amount" and "close date" fields from the opportunities table. Lexio can also be configured to use any custom fields your organization may use to track these key data points.

Pipeline Health Story

> Summary

This story gives you an overview of your pipeline's health in the time frame you have selected. It highlights your new, open, and lost opportunities as well as average opportunity in # and $ and comparisons of those metrics to the previous period. Use this story to get a holistic view of your pipeline health.

> New Pipeline Created

The New Pipeline Created Story helps answer questions your sales team has about your new pipeline, such as, “How much did we add in new pipeline? What was our average opportunity size? How did the number of new opportunities and average opportunity size change relative to the previous period? How did we perform relative to goal? Who were our top performers?”

This information is presented at Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly timeframes, with each story examining the sizes of new opportunities created over the course of the chosen timeframe.

To calculate your new pipeline, Lexio uses the "created date" field from the opportunities table. Lexio can also be configured to use a different date field for this narrative.

> Current Open Pipeline

This story gives you a look into how many open opportunities are in the pipeline and how many of those are expected to close given the timeframe that the user has selected. Use the funnel to see how many opportunities are in each stage!

This information is presented at Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly timeframes, with each story examining the number of open opportunities created in the cumulative to date timeframe.

To calculate your open pipeline, Lexio uses the "isClosed" field from the opportunities table by default, but it can also be configured to use a different field for this narrative.

> Lost Opportunities

This story informs your sales team about the number of lost opportunities over different time frames. It helps answer such questions as, "How many opportunities did we lose? How did that compare to the previous period? What lead source was responsible for most of our lost opps? Which accounts did we lose?" so you can better analyze your sales process.

This information is presented at Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly timeframes, with each story examining the number of your closed/lost opportunities over the course of the chosen timeframe.

To calculate your lost opportunities, Lexio uses the "isWon" and "isClosed fields from the opportunities table. Again, Lexio can also be configured to use a different fields if necessary.
